Apalachee Aquatics 2010
It is time to start thinking about your plans for the upcoming season with Apalachee Aquatics! This year brings more of the same excitement: Ø In 2009, we placed 8th in the county championships! Ø We will be swimming in a geographically based division in the Gwinnett County Swim League Ø We plan to have our coaching staff return next year - Sam, Ashley, Bradley, Robby, Lauren, and Megan. Apalachee Aquatics’ coaches are accomplished in the sport and have demonstrated the ability to help young swimmers develop strength, speed, and self-confidence...and Katie Campbell will be returning as a stroke and technique specialist . Ø The Championship Meet is scheduled for July 17th and 18th at Georgia Tech. Ø Details of the dual meet season have not been completed. We will keep everyone updated. 2010 enrollment is now open. The Apalachee Aquatics Planning Team anticipates continued STRONG INTEREST in team membership this year. In order to ensure that every team member is allowed to swim in the meets, we have established LIMITS to the number of boys and girls for each age group. Therefore, if you are interested it is important for you to SIGN UP EARLY. As age groups of boys and girls begin to get full, we may not be able to accept every interested swimmer. Please provide the following for each interested swimmer: Ø $25 reservation fee (applies to membership fee, which is not refundable) (checks payable to: Apalachee Aquatics) Ø A completed and signed Information Sheet (available on our website: www.apalacheeaquatics.org) Ø A copy of a birth certificate (new swimmers only) Return these materials to Diane Russo, 2577 Bent Tree Drive, Dacula, GA 30019, 770.513.3493 Now is the time to recruit your friends to join our team! MEMBERSHIP FEES
Even with rising costs of operations, we are adhering to the same fee schedule we had last year. Full payment is required by Saturday, March 27, 2010. Checks should be made payable to Apalachee Aquatics. Included in the membership fees is a $25 non-refundable membership deposit.
